In close proximity to the Šumava National Park, under the Smrčina mountain (Hochficht) and only a few dozen metres from the Lipno Lake, you can find historic buildings of the former Schwarzenberg Forest Administration, which are still a cultural monument. The buildings from the middle of the 18th century have been carefully reconstructed so that, in the middle of the virgin nature, we could create a unique hotel complex and offere unhurried comfort even to the most demanding guests.

In several buildings you will find fully equipped apartments named after individual members of the Schwarzenberg family and other important figures of the Šumava. The interior is made up of original historic furniture in contrast to modern elements that create an absolutely unique atmosphere.

The surrounding area invites you to many sports activities in every season. You can start the spring season at Ulrichsberg Golf Park. In the summer Lipno Lake offers not only sunbathing on the beach but also many water sports or fishing. In the autumn, the surrounding forests are suitable for mushroom picking, walking or cycling along numerous cycling trails. In winter, take advantage of the nearby Austrian cross-country skiing area Schöneben and the Hochficht ski resort.
